Because of its position, the house at Orožnov trg 1 narrows the passage from the square to Mestna ulica. Its basic design dates from the Baroque period. A vaulted entrance hall links the front of the building with the courtyard. The former stone portals did not survive the many renovations, but the stone staircase leading to the cellar and attic has been preserved. Like most buildings in Laško's old market-town centre, the house acquired its present appearance in the first half of the 19th century. A wheel guard, or ‘radštos’, is still visible on the southern corner; it was once considerably larger than it is today.
